 Jane Greengold- American artist who worked as a lawyer part time while continuing an art career.

Melinda Hackett -  American painter and printmaker who references Brazilian painter Beatriz Milhazes, among others. Her paintings are fantastical and otherworldy.

Jennifer Sanchez  another artist influenced by Milhazes

Beatriz Milhazes - Brazilian painter and printmaker,  whose work was the inspiration for my exhibition Digital Brain Chatter, 2008. Her own work is an amalgam of  multiple influences.  They are gorgeous and evocative. She paints in acrylic on plastic and then peels these off when dry and layers them on a substrate.

Ryan McGinnis - American artist working in multimedia.

Isabel Bigelow - American painter, elegant and meditative work.

Rex Ray  - American artist, illustrator and designer  - similar layering in his work to  Milhazes but with a  retro serigraph look.

Bruce Montcombroux - Canadian sculptor with  interesting observations.
